Abbreviations & Terms:

Catalina or OYNO (On Your Next Order) ~ These are cents or dollar-off coupons that print from a machine by the register after you've made qualifying purchases.  Catalinas may be used to purchase almost anything else in the store.  (There are a few exclusions such as cigarettes, gift cards, alcohol, phone cards, stamps, etc.)

Giant Eagle doubles coupons with a face value up to $.99.  That means if you have a $.75/1 coupon, it will double to $1.50/1.  

If you have multiples of the same coupon, you can use them to buy more of the same product in the same visit.  For example, if you want to buy 3 packs of yogurt at $2.00/each and you have three $.75/1 identical yogurt coupons, you can use all 3 of them and they will each double to $1.50/1.  You will end up paying $.50/each or $1.50 for all three!  Woo Hoo!  

It pays to have several copies of each coupon to maximize your savings.  If you buy extra newspapers at Giant Eagle, you'll also receive FuelPerks credit on the amount you spend.  If you don't want to buy extras, you can ask family and friends for their extras.  But, it's always an option when there's a great deal.

Giant Eagle ~ Coupon Policy Effective 10/06/11

Giant Eagle made some changes to their coupon redemption policy recently.

A *.pdf copy is available to print out to keep in your binder.

A few highlights:

• A maximum of 12 coupons per same 12 items purchased in a 24-hour period per Giant Eagle Advantage Card customer.  (No more adding extras in for the kids!)
• Stacking of electronic coupons and paper coupons is prohibited
• Bottle caps are accepted for redemption
• 10-day grace period if you forgot your coupons
• A maximum of two (2) identical Internet printed coupons will be accepted
• The doubled amount cannot exceed the value of the item purchased
