Here is a list of stores that will be participating in Super Doubles the week of 04/04/10 - 04/10/10. Thanks to Laura for sending us the link to this list!

It doesn't look like any of our local stores will be participating.

Kmart Super Doubles Returns 04/04/10 - 04/10/10

Kmart has scheduled another Super Doubles event beginning 04/04/10 - 04/10/10.

We are trying to confirm whether our local stores in Ohio will be participating.  We'll keep you updated.

For those of you who have not participated in this event, Kmart will double manufacturer's coupons with a face value up to and including $2.00.  So, if you have a $1.00 coupon, it's worth $2.00... a $2.00 coupon, it's worth $4.00.  The savings can really add up. 

The word is right now that the limit will be 5 total coupons per customer, per day.  However, they've said that before and our local stores would let you use more than 5 as long as they were in separate transactions.  We'll see what happens this time around!

 

Kmart ~ No Super Doubles Planned

I recently contacted Kmart's Customer Service to find out if there are any more Super Double Coupon events.  Here is what they had to say:

Dear Allie,

Thank you for contacting Kmart regarding the Double Coupon Event.  We appreciate your interest in this promotion.

Unfortunately, there are no future double coupon events planned.

So it looks like no more Super Doubles are coming up.  We will let you know if we hear anything different. 

Target ~ Steaz Iced Tea FREE w/Coupon

Print this Get One Free 16 oz. Steaz Organic Iced Tea coupon and head to Target or other retailer that carries this brand.

Coupon states "Redeemable at Target Stores Nationwide" but does not say exclusively.  Should be fine elsewhere.

Target's price on this item is $74.99.

Kmart has it on sale this week for $29.99.  See the ad from 12/06/09.

Take the Kmart ad to Target's Guest Services and have them price-match to Kmart's price.

Then, use this $5.00 coupon from Fisher-Price and a $10.00 Target coupon available at www.Target.com.  Just scroll to the bottom of their site, click on Grocery Coupons, then click on Toys and you'll be able to find  it.

Your final price will be $14.99 + tax.    Not bad for 80% off!    Before Christmas.

Worked perfectly!

It has been reported that some have found $10.00 peelie coupons on these.  I personally did not.  However, should you find one, use the $10.00 peelie coupon instead of the $5.00 one from Fisher-Price combined with the $10.00 Target coupon.  Your final price will be $9.99 + tax instead - WOO HOO!

Black Friday Deals!

Black Friday is tomorrow!  Hopefully, you're already prepared to head out early tomorrow and snatch up some great finds.  However, if you're like us (not-so-prepared) we have put together this list of stores and links to those store's ads so you can see what looks good to you. It is an adventure to get up early and head out to the stores. Stores (like Best Buy) will often hand out tickets for the big items to the customers in line to avoid a crazy rush. Ask toward the front of the line to see if the item you want is already sold out. Politeness and a good attitude go a long way knowing you will be around lots of people who have also waited in long lines.

Dress for the weather, check your local forecast HERE.  One year, it was so cold my cousin wore his neon orange hunting snowsuit to wait for a laptop.  He may have looked a little funny (and was easy to find in line) but he was warm. 

Also, if you know what you are buying, stop at Giant Eagle to buy gift cards so you can earn fuelperks on what you spend.  Find the list of gift cards available HERE. Be careful when buying your gift cards, if you don't get the item or want to return it later, the gift cards cannot be returned!  

If you check the return policy on the things you buy and there isn't a problem with it, you could purchase the items first, then head to Giant Eagle to buy gift cards in the amount of the item.  Return it, then  buy it back with the gift card.   Double-check with customer service to make sure the "early bird" price will still apply when you come back to re-buy it.  Just another thought on maximizing your savings.

Kmart ~ Loyalty Card, 2010 Calendar, & Pharmacy Coupons

A few things to look out for on your next trip to Kmart.

First is the Pharmacy Booklet.  There are 4 coupons inside.  Each one is for a "transferred" prescription and the gift card value is limited to the retail price of the prescription. These expire 12/31/09 and other pharmacies, like Giant Eagle, will match the offer.

Next, look for the 2010 calendar by the Customer Service desk.  Each month has coupons that are valid during that month. These may come in handy if Kmart does Super Doubles again.

Finally, sign up for the loyalty card at Customer Service. "Shop Your Way Rewards" is valid at Kmart and Sears.

Here are the benefits:

• Earn 1% back in rewards on all purchases at Kmart, Sears, Land's End, mygofer stores and online
• Spend rewards at Kmart, Sears, Land's End, mygofer stores and online
• Rewards are stored on your card so you can spend them on your next purchase or save them for something special

It has been rumored that some stores are doubling up to 5 coupons with the card.  However, when we at CouponAllies went on a fact-finding mission, we did NOT find this to be true.  If this works for you, would you let us know?

Clorox Rewards on Products @ Kmart

Kmart is currently offering a "Reward" deal for Clorox Products.

Buy $15 worth and receive a $5 Reward (coupon prints after your receipt).

This offer is good until 11/9/09.

Be on the look out for this pamphlet.  It has a coupon in it for $1 off two products (coupon expires 11/30/09)!

In my store there are signs on the shelves, but you may want to print page 8 (find it HERE) from the "Kmart Storewide Savings Guide" ad and take it with you just in case your coupon doesn't print.  I have had this happen at Kmart, and they can fix it for you at the customer service desk. 

Kmart ~ Snuggle Liquid Fabric Softener $3 thru 11/09 - FREE w/coupon

If you have the $3.00/1 coupon from the 10/04/09 Red Plum insert, you'll only have to pay the tax. 

If you don't have any, consider ordering them from eBay!    If you buy 20 coupons, you will save $60.00 at Kmart and you can remove fabric softener from your shopping list for a loooooonnnggg time!

There is a P&G Catalina deal going on. Buy $25 get $5 and Buy $50 get $12. You need to take a calculator with you, these deals are working on the sale price, so scan the items at the price check and figure out the best way to reach $50 or $25 before your coupons.

If you buy  Pledge and/or the small Glade soy candles, use the $1 Pledge coupons and the Free 2 oz Glade Fragrance Collection Soy Candle to help you "pay" for these items.  

If you can find any of the Glade Scented Oil Candle tins with the $1.50 coupon in them, use your "buy tin get refill free" coupon too.   Pay attention to the signs on the shelves and/or pick up one of the monthly flyers at the front of the store by the entrance, to know what all is in each promotion. Remember, you must reach the specified dollar amount BEFORE coupons!

If you have 20 of the Free 2 oz Glade Soy candle coupons, and you can find a store with 20 candles, you will reach $50 exactly, since the coupons are on sale for $2.50 each.  Use all your coupons (these do not double, so they should not count toward your "10 per transaction" rule) pay the tax, and receive your $12 coupon towards your next purchase of $12.00.   It expires 10/26/09.

 

 

 

Anything that is $2.00 or $4.00 will be FREE (+ applicable tax) if you use the $1.00 or $2.00 Discover Card coupon.   

I bought 4 Hot Wheels ($1.01/each) in one transaction and paid $.30 including tax after the $2.00 coupon doubled - my little boys were very happy!

The $12.00 register coupon from the deal above works well with the $2.00 Discover Card coupon which does double to $4.00 making a nice pair of jeans (regular price $19.99) $3.99 + tax!   Woo Hoo!

Another pair of jeans that was $14.99 came to $1.12  using another $12.00 coupon combined with $1.00 Discover Card coupon that doubled to $2.00!

Kmart Super Doubles ~ 09/27/09 - 10/03/09 - UPDATE!

UPDATE 9/28/09:  Well, wouldn't you know it.  Kmart is doubling all coupons as they have before!  At least the two stores I went to yesterday & today in Massillon and Canton.   You may want to call ahead to find out the particulars at your store.

They were not limiting you to 10 coupons per day either.  If you have more than 10 items you may separate the transactions.  Just be organized with your coupons on each item to make it less frustrating for the cashier and those customers stuck in line behind you!  So, get your coupons and head out.

NOTE:  Don't be surprised if the rules change again before this is over on Saturday!   Call before you head out.

 

UPDATE 9/23/09:  I heard some rumors flying around about this Doubles event so instead of relying on them, I emailed Kmart Customer Service back to find out the specifics on this event and suprisingly I got another email back today giving further details.  This event is UNLIKE previous events.  Please read the following:

"Below are the details of the promotion:
 
Kmart is participating in the "Double Your P & G Brand Saver Coupons" which will be advertised in Sunday, Sept 27th newspaper.   The event is running from 9/27/09 through 10/3/2009.  All Procter & Gamble coupons that include the name  "Procter & Gamble" in the coupon disclosure are included.  If this verbiage does not appear in the disclosure, the coupon can be accepted at face value only.   The limit is 10 doubled coupons, per day, per customer. "

As I have shared before, one of the Managers at one of the Kmart stores shared with me that they will not limit you to 10 coupons per day, but they will limit you to 10 coupons per transaction. So, you could do separate transactions if you have more than 10 coupons.  Keep in mind, this may not be the case in all the stores. You might want to call your store to confirm.

Get all your coupons together and ready to go!

Kmart begins another Super Doubles event on Sunday, August 16 - Saturday, August 22, 2009.

They will double coupons with a face value up to and including $2.00.  So, your $.50 coupon is worth $1.00, your $1.00 coupon is worth $2.00 and your $2.00 coupon is worth $4.00 next week!

But, you have to be organized since they are limiting you to 10 coupons per transaction and no more than 4 similar coupons in one transaction.  You can separate purchases into more than one transaction though. 

Let the person in line behind you know what you're doing so they can move to another line if necessary.

Get prepared now to maximize your savings!
