We love finding deals and sharing them with you! 

We have been at this for over a year already!  We certainly hope that you have learned or are in the process of learning the art of "couponing" and have enjoyed saving money.  CouponAllies is a passion for those of us behind the scenes and we want to continue to provide you with this service.  We hope to add some additional services this year like, for instance, additional store ad/coupon match-ups each week for CVS and Rite Aid.

However, it has become increasingly difficult to finance this site and all the legwork on our own so we're asking for your help so we can continue to do what we do.  Your contribution is voluntary - we're not requiring anything from anyone.  But, if you've been able to save money utilizing this service, please consider an annual "tip".  Any amount is welcome, but $12 works out to $1 a month!

We don't want to bombard you with advertisements so we have chosen to affiliate with only a few companies whose service or product aligns well with CouponAllies.com.  Their "ad buttons" appear on our site.  When you click those buttons from our site and make a purchase, we receive a very small commission but it is not paid out until a certain threshold is met.

So, if you like what you find here, please consider helping us off-set expenses by using the tip basket in the right side bar just above our Facebook Fans.  Payments are processed securely through Paypal.  You don't have to have a Paypal account either, but may want to sign up for one as they are free.  Payments can be processed using a major credit card, debit card, or Paypal balance or bank transfer.

We highly recommend the All You magazine since it has lots of coupons in it each month.  If you use them, you'll earn your subscription price back very quickly with your coupon savings.

Using PayPal

   USING PAYPAL

For those of us who consider ourselves savvy shoppers, you often want extras of a specific coupon.  Consider that it is often very economical to buy from a coupon clipping service, even one on eBay.

When you buy on eBay it is convenient to pay through PayPal.  If you do not have an account, I would suggest signing up for one as there are ways to maximize your savings on eBay!  Read on...

Go to www.paypal.com and look for "New to PayPal? Sign up." And click on sign up. Select your Country and language and click "Get Started" under Personal Account. Fill in all the information. It will then prompt you to add a bank account or credit card. This is where the money will come from for any purchases you make.  You will need to follow the directions for each option.   After you've done that, I would also suggest verifiying your account because it will give others more peace of mind.  On your "Account Overview" below your name it will say "Status: Unverified," you can click there and choose how you want to verify your account, there are several options.

These steps can take several days so do this well before you actually need to buy anything.

PayPal will NOT charge your bank account or credit card without your authorization and they offer buyer protection when you pay through them (if you have a problem with a seller, they will mediate for you).

The name, email and mailing address you enter on Paypal will be the one that eBay sellers will ship to, so make sure it's where you want your purchases sent.

Another great option is the PayPal Plug-in. I use it often to pay for purchases online (seperate from eBay) when I don't want to give out my personal credit card information. You can "Generate a Secure Card" and have the option of a single use or multiple use card. When you generate a single-use card it will give you a "virtual" card number, expiration date and 3 digit code to enter at any online retailer that accepts MasterCard. I have used this feature on Amazon.com, Buy.com, and other retail sites that don't take PayPal, but do take MasterCard.  It appears to the merchant that you're paying with a credit card but the money is actually processed through your Paypal account - which could come from your Paypal account balance, your bank account or from a different credit card you have on file with Paypal.

Use Ebates to save more on eBay!

If you are planning on buying stuff on eBay and paying for it through Paypal... here's a hint for saving money:

Sign up at Ebates.com too to receive 3% back on all purchases on eBay.  You just have to go through Ebates.com first.  Log in, then connect to eBay through their site, then make your purchases.  Ebates will keep track of your "[r]ebates" and will send you a check accordingly OR will deposit it into your Paypal account, if you set that up on Ebates.com!  (Ebates is great for lots of other shopping sites too, but I digress...)

There you go!  Hope that wasn't too painful.  With a little patience, and planning, you can maximize your eBay shopping!
