In honor of Father's Day, Sears is running a $50 Rebate on Men's Apparel (excludes Land's End and footwear).
Purchase at least $50.00 in men's apparel through June 20th (Sunday), and submit your request for a rebate by July 20th (by mail, or online) and receive a $50 Come Back Coupon that may be used at Sears on more men's apparel through October 29, 2010.
So, you spend $50 now, and get another $50 worth of men's apparel later for FREE! Not bad.
See additional details HERE.
Rebates are limited to one per customer/email address... so, you, your husband, your kids... hmmm. A man in my household may be dressing pretty nice soon.
Note: I called Customer Service to verify whether a purchase made with a Sears Gift Card would disqualify you from a rebate and surprisingly, I was told YES! What? Why? The customer service representative said that gift cards fall under the same definition as coupons and reward certificates, which is mentioned on the rebate form in the fine print at the bottom. Huh? I was hoping to use my gift card purchased at Giant Eagle on this deal (fuelperks!) If you also disagree with this definition, I would suggest calling customer service and filing a complaint. Their number is 1-800-549-4505 and select option 5.
For now, only cash, check, debit card and credit card purchases qualify for the rebate.
UPDATE: Just got off the phone with a Sears Customer Service Representative and he, Peter, said that they had been confused about the rebate and that they WILL HONOR the rebate if the purchase was/is made with a Sears gift card. So, if you took advantage of the CVS deal and purchased a gift card there, or want to purchase a Sears gift card at Giant Eagle to take advantage of the Fuelperks ($6.00 in free gas at GetGo when you buy a $50 gift card with your Advantage card), then go for it. Your rebate will be honored. Woo Hoo!
Thanks goes out to both Tracey and Dustin C. for their efforts in getting this all straightened out!
